On my second day of wearing my new Atoms, I walked 30000+ steps (11.2 miles!) at Disney World. At the end of the day, my feet were not at all sore, and no issues at all with breaking them in. If that's not an endorsement of how good these are for walking, I don't know what is....The ordering, fit, and return experience was great. I received 3 pairs and was able to figure out which ones fit the best on each foot, and just had to slap the return label on the box and drop it off at the nearby UPS store. A very well-designed and well-executed process.

I live in NYC and walk about 3 miles every day. I spent months looking for shoes that could handle my daily commute without sacrificing aesthetics and comfort. Eventually I stumbled upon Atoms at one of their pop-ups, and I'm so glad I did. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, and they look great with most outfits. As an added bonus, thanks to Atoms, I discovered that my feet are two completely different sizes. I'm not sure if I ever owned a pair of perfectly fitting shoes before I purchased my Atoms. Do yourself a favor, and buy these shoes.
