Meet the Founders
Mark, an artist and tinkerer, honed his craft at the Penland School of Crafts, learning ceramics and slip casting from renowned mentors in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Meanwhile, Chris, a potter turned accountant, harbored a passion for pottery alongside his corporate career. In 2012, as Chris left his accounting job and Mark finished his fellowship, they seized the chance to join forces, birthing Haand. Despite humble beginnings in a dilapidated farmhouse, their shared vision flourished.
