Founded by Geraldine and Richmond, a local couple with a profound love for dogs, HI-BK is named after the unique blend of their Hawaiian roots and New York City home. They opened HI-BK with the vision of creating a trustworthy and reputable space offering a range of services, including doggy daycare, overnight boarding, spa & grooming, training, and puppy socialization.

Our dog loves coming here! She basically drags us the entire walk over just to get here faster. They update their instagram with cute photos of the dogs sitting, sleeping and playing all day. Our dog is a high-energy pup, but always comes home nice and mellow after playing all day. They also give you an update when you pick your dog up on how they did all day, which is always nice and reassuring. The staff is super friendly and always responsive and helpful!

Can’t say enough good things at Hi-BK! My dog is very shy, and he quickly warmed up to the caring and attentive staff. I can tell he feels safe and happy whenever I drop him off. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands.

HiBK is the best. My boston terrier can be a quirky, anxious girl and it takes a long time and a lot of care for her to warm up to new people taking care of her. Especially in an overwhelming environment with many other dogs! Rich, Hannah and the rest of the team were so patient with my girl! We started off with half day sessions and gradually worked our way up to full days. She was very nervous at first and didn't want to be handled or play with other dogs. Now she's been going to HiBK regularly for years and she even drags me there when she recognizes where we are! I get so excited when I see my girl playing with new friends on their Instagram story - I'm so grateful for the team's patience and care. It's comforting knowing she's in good hands and happy as can be when I drop her off :)
