About Us
Hello! We are Elizabeth and Donovan Cain. We have been together since our first date at Liberty State Park in the Spring of 2007 with our dog Wiley. Elizabeth adopted Wiley through the North Shore Animal League America and he was the inspiration to open these doors.
Aside from the joy that Wiley brought into our lives, he also taught us a few things throughout the years. Maintaining his happy and healthy lifestyle, we have spent a great deal of time researching natural food products, as well as experiencing the benefits of training with positive reinforcement.
We look forward to sharing our experiences with you, and we expect to learn a lot from our customers as well. Come in, and sniff around!

Moved to JC from Seattle and Hound About Town was the closest pet store to have - I'm relieved and happy to have found this store! Although small, they hold a variety! Mai who works behind the counter is very friendly, caring and informative. My dog is generally timid and when she approaches a human (Mai) excitedly, it's very telling :)

Cute little pet store hidden near Grove St. I just happened to walk by and stopped in to get some treats for my pup. The employee (Odessa? Don't recall her name exactly) was super sweet and helpful. You will find quality foods and treats for your pet here! Can't wait to return with my little guy.

Love this place! They have a great variety of dog food and more organic style dog treats and chews. They also support local pet designers (clothing toys etc). The team recommended a chew for my pup and he hasn't stopped to breathe chewing this thing. Kept him busy for hours even at a busy restaurant! They also gave recs for cross titrating food and have a rewards program. Definitely recommend.
