This is a very durable high-quality toy. It keeps my dogs entertained for at least a half an hour or more.. I feel that it’s very safe due to the construction and materials, however, I wouldn’t leave him home alone with it. I monitor them when they play with this.

My dog loves this. She is a picky eater (Cavalier) and isn’t very good motivated. She will pick at her food and it’s a struggle to get her to eat her meals. This has been nice because she’s more motivated to eat, it gives her mental stimulation, and she can’t really pick through her food. We break up liver treats into her food and since it dispenses the food for her she can’t just pick out the liver but is motivated to continue playing with the toy. Good purchase!

It consists of several different compartments and levels, each of which can be filled with treats or kibble. The challenge is for the dog to figure out how to manipulate the puzzle to release the treats - which is an activity that provides an excellent mental workout for the dog.
