Park Slope
Down-to-earth Park Slope is a residential area of tree-lined streets and historic brownstones in Brooklyn. It's known for its open-minded community of families and young professionals. The mix of indie boutiques, laid-back bars and casual restaurants along 5th Avenue and pockets of 7th Avenue caters to the diverse area. Locals and visitors head to sprawling Prospect Park for outdoor concerts, picnics and jogging

This small neighborhood pet store has a good selection of freeze dried dog food including Stella & Chewey's. It's conveniently located near the train station so it's my go-to. Most importantly, I come here to support local-family-owner business. If they hosted pet adoption events, I'm sure they will get more traction.

I'm very happy with this pet supply store for several reasons. 1) A large number of brands, including products from excellent small companies. 2) Items on sale - this is important. 3) The guy working that I dealt with there (the owner possibly, not sure) is extremely knowledgeable and cares about positive health outcomes for animals. Last time I went in was a Sunday night - he was open way later than the other pet shops and helped me divert a serious health issue for my terrier - thank you!

The owner of this business is a hero and very kind to my daughter after being attacked by a vagrant on the L Train. The man chased my daughter and she went into the store for safety. The owner realized my daughters peril and comforted her and made sure she was safe. This man showed amazing kindness to my daughter and as a Dad I'm truly grateful. His actions speak volumes of his character and this is a place worthy of anyones business.
