About Us
We make pet treats exclusively from invasive fish! We specialize in single ingredient treats that are excellent high protein, low fat options for dogs and cats. Our treats are great for both pets and the environment - our packaging is 100% compostable too! I was working as fisheries researcher in Mexico when I came across the invasive 'pez diablo' or 'devil fish', a popular aquarium fish that usually goes by pleco or armored catfish in the US. It turns out this fish had overtaken local ecosystems and had decimated the fisheries that sustain tens of thousands of fishermen.
I partnered with a local celebrity chef to begin giving cooking workshops in local towns across Southern Mexico. Eventually we started testing with pet treats and Pezzy was born! We've since expanded to other invasive fish like silver carp and lionfish and are currently working on land-based invasive proteins as well. Our sole focus is to make treats that are a win-win for pets, people and the planet as a whole. Thank you so much for reading and for supporting our mission!

My Frenchie is allergic to beef, poultry, lamb and all kinds of grains. She is not allergic to fish. These are absolutely the best for her. She really likes them.

I went to a local event and got a sample of the treats there - I took them home and I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and they ALL loved them. They are usually so picky so to find something healthy, sustainably made, and that they all love is a dream come true. I am definitely going to be getting more!
