When you install and use the Instorify app, we collect the following data from your Shopify store to support core app functionality:

  • Store information (e.g., shop domain, store name, and location)
  • Inventory and fulfillment-related data
  • Webhook event data related to product and inventory changes
  • App installation and uninstallation events
  • We do not access or store customer information or order data unrelated to inventory functions.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used to:

  • Sync inventory purchased through Instorify into your Shopify store
  • Automatically update product details and inventory levels
  • Trigger restocking actions when inventory runs low
  • Maintain accurate analytics without requiring manual sales reporting
  • Ensure app functionality and store performance monitoring

3. Data Sharing And Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share your store’s data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Some data may be processed by third-party services solely to operate the app, such as our payment gateway for handling inventory purchases. All payment data is processed through a PCI-compliant gateway, and we do not store credit card information.

4. Data Storage And Security

All store data is securely stored using Gadget.dev, our backend platform provider. Gadget is a managed, secure platform that adheres to industry standards for data security and application hosting.

Data may be processed in regions where Gadget's infrastructure is hosted, which may include jurisdictions outside your own. We ensure that all data is handled securely and in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

If you uninstall the app, your data is deleted from our systems and Gadget’s infrastructure within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights And Data Deletion

You may request access to or deletion of your store’s data at any time by contacting us at [Hello@instorify.com]. We will process your request in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

6. International Data Transfers

If data is transferred internationally, including outside of your region (e.g., the EU), we will comply with all relevant data transfer laws and sign Shopify’s required addendums when applicable.
